Pick a perfect location. Avoid having your notes in sloppy handwriting. Though it may be good for the lecture time, when your teacher is making a presentation and you have to keep up whether you want it or not, it’s not the best option for organizing your study area, the key to successful learning. First of all, you should get rid of all distractions. If you know that music is disturbing you and doesn’t help concentrating, turn it off. If you have a phone by your side, and your hand is constantly reaching for it, put aside as well.
If you need to write a paper and simply don’t have time for such a lengthy task, we advise you to find cheap research papers that are available online. They should not be the pre-used copies, though, and ought to have a plagiarism scan report attached to them. In order to avoid frauds and scam sites (which may look like your typical essay writing service, but are nothing of the kind), one should browse the list of best services available and find one that’s ideal in terms of pricing and policies (these one should be also read carefully).
Set alarms for the study time. Once you create a schedule, you will be able to follow it without actually having to cram. You can also use a simple calendar with important dates marked in red, and color coding to help you organize your notes. Studies prove that it is easier to learn once you get rid of cluttered spaces and desks. You can set a deadline for yourself as well. This doesn’t mean you have to forget about the time limit your teacher is warning you about, but there are tasks that take longer to do. Allow yourself to slack off when you are feeling tired to prevent that effect of the squeezed lemon and relax!
Quiz yourself by asking questions, say, in the middle of the night. If you are successful, you will manage to study in groups and test each other in turn. This method is especially helpful if you are a bit of a team player and can’t be on your own. Choose a café or a backyard (any place that really goes well with you) and pretend that you are already taking the test. A bit stressful, right? But this is highly motivational in terms of self-organization and procrastination fighting when it comes to the real job.
Do not be afraid to ask for help. Teachers can become your friends if you approach them with a smile and respective attitude. If you have a writing task or a custom paper to be completed, talk to your instructor about the requirements. This seems like an easy tip to follow, but many of us forget we can find help outside, and prefer struggling to fill their gaps alone. No more stress once you know there is somebody out there caring for your well-being.
